Hopefully Yours

11 December, 2006

Hope
this word is a tricky thing...!!! "hope can never die" is highly over rated.
we live in a community. so all of us are inter connected.

i hoped that i want to go to london and my mom and friends hoped that i wont (no sinister reasons- cuz they will miss me)
a person in love with another hopes that the love will respond and the love is hoping someone else she/he likes will reciprocate!!!
a gal hopes her boyfriend will understand her and the he hopes that his girlfriend will understand that he cant think that much emotionally

so who wins?
who gets their hope fulfilled?
why is god partial?
how is it determined?
whose hope gets the top priority?
what does anyone do when two hopes are intertwined and ure hope gets smothered?

any answers? as my friend said god has his work cut out for him!!! this is his hope probably one day he will have uncomplicated hope requests!!!
till then
cheers!

I always wondered too...its obvious..i mean..if someone's dream is being crushed..then another's has just been granted..so soemone's hope has priority over another. I belive there is no reason behind this.. if soemhting great happens to u later.. u can say..tht ur dream was crushed that day so u may have this greater joy today..if it doesnt well.. then we will always wonedr why ours was never granted.
all i can say.. is that now i understand what a wise girl once told me..i laughed and thot she was being idealistic that day.. but then.. i m beginning to see that she wasnt too off the mark.. she said.. that in a true and loving relationships..there are no compromises.

the only one who wins who has hope and continues hoping... Seems very stupid but I guess with Hope is entwined Belief in what someone believes in(don ask me One in the night)and for how long..
As they say Brave is no one but ordinary people who are brave for another five minutes...

God tosses a coin. Heads, he supports the hope of this person, and tails, that person.

:)

PS : Dualities are very misleading. Look beyond them.

Like I said, its tough playing God, we can only hope, and hope for the best, nothing more nothing less..

you could repeat the word Hopeless ten times a day. That must solve it all :)

Well hope, is an abstract concept and i have never really understood its meaning completely. A hope can be wicked as well as well-intented

[i'm reading the abridged version.]
ever tried surf boarding?
one could wait the whole day for that perfect wave to come.
your eyes burn, and the cold in the water makes you go numb.
you still wait, because you came with the board.
and then the wave comes - just as you hoped it would. but the beach is barren, and it's dark.
you did'nt wade to the shore where the laughter was -when it was - because you were hoping for the perfect wave to come.
hope is a good thing - as long as it does'nt blind you.
peace.
and thanks for coming by. i saw your comment very late, i guess. :)

was wonderful. :-)

u know tsu...hope is a sick word. everytime i hear it, i feel like the one who uttered it is some sort of a beggar who wishes something he wants will fall into his lap like alms. like alms.

its very degrading.

as humans, probably the highest of god's celebration of creation, we ought to fight. like heroic beings. claim what u think is urs, or what u deserve. no iron will can stop u.

dont u think so? instead of crawling like miserable little filthy beings at the mercy of something unknown and unseen that none of us seem to have the courage to battle?
